How to Find the Emojis
Students using half-screen mode will find the emoji menu by clicking the video tab in the Learning Portal
A variety of emojis are available, including smiles, thumbs up, and more
Emojis appear briefly on-screen when selected, adding a visual reaction to the session
Using the Confetti/Firework Emoji 🎉
The confetti/firework emoji is a great way to celebrate your student’s success — perfect after solving a tricky problem or completing a full session
Only the Leader in the session (usually the tutor) has access to this emoji
Use it to make achievements feel special and keep the energy high
Tip
Try using an emoji at the beginning of a session for a quick check-in, and again at the end to close with celebration or encouragement.
