The Learning Portal opens in a new browser tab, so it's important to allow pop-ups from the website. If pop-ups are blocked, you may not be able to see or hear your student during your tutoring session.
Here’s how to enable pop-ups based on the browser you're using:
Chrome (recommended browser)
If you see a message that a pop-up has been blocked:
Click on the notification at the top of your screen
Select “Always allow pop-ups from this site”
Click Done or Allow when prompted
Refresh the page and try joining again
Firefox
If a message appears at the top of the screen:
Click the Options/Preferences button in the message
Select “Allow pop-ups from...”
Reload the page to apply the change
You may also consider using Google Chrome as your browser for the best experience.
Safari
If a pop-up window is blocked:
Look for a message in the search/address bar
Click on the message or icon
Choose “Allow pop-ups from this site”
You may also want to go to Safari > Preferences > Websites > Pop-up Windows, and manually set the site to Allow.
You may also consider using Google Chrome as your browser for the best experience.
Still Having Trouble?
If you’ve allowed pop-ups and the session still won’t open, try:
Disabling any pop-up blocking extensions
Using another supported browser like Chrome (recommended)
