Steps to Claim a Substitute Request
Check the Substitute Dashboard: Visit the Step Up Substitute Dashboard regularly to see current substitute opportunities.
Claim an Available Slot: If you're available to cover a listed session, click “Claim” and complete the contact form with your information. Important: Only claim a substitute request if you can commit to all listed dates.
What Happens Next?
You'll receive an automated confirmation email once you've successfully claimed the spot.
The original tutor will also be notified via email.
The student’s guardian will receive a confirmation text to let them know the session is covered.
Note: As a substitute, you will not have access to all tutor tools such as the session guide or the Cobrowser. Please make sure to have your student's appropriate login information and use Share Screen as needed.
